FIELD: building materials industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the building materials industry and can be used in the manufacture of high-temperature thermal insulation products. The raw mixture contains amorphous siliceous rock in the form of diatomite and carbonate rock in the form of chalk or limestone, and as a refractory porous filler it contains expanded vermiculite in the following ratio, wt.%: diatomite 33.0-35.28, carbonate rock 28.22 -39.6, expanded vermiculite 27.4-36.5. According to the second embodiment, the raw mix contains expanded perlite as a refractory porous filler in the following ratio of components, wt.%: diatomite 20.33-32.64, carbonate rock 16.27-39.16, expanded perlite 28.2-63, four. The method for obtaining the raw mix includes drying and crushing of diatomite and carbonate rock in the form of chalk or limestone, their joint mechanochemical activation in a planetary ball mill for 20-60 minutes at centrifugal overloads inside the mill cups 10G or for 10-30 minutes at 20G. The above components are mixed with water and expanded vermiculite or expanded perlite, the products are shaped, dried and fired at a maximum temperature of 900°C for 2 h.

EFFECT: reducing the production temperature of thermal insulation products and expanding the raw material base.
