FIELD: radio engineering.
EFFECT: high amplification with circular radiation pattern and vertical polarization of the wave; creating a simple, compact and lightweight design. A compact vertical antenna array of circular orientation based on half-wave split vibrators contains a bearing support in the form of a pipe, on which N vertical vibrators are located one above the other, having upper and lower arms, and N coaxial feeders pass inside. The bearing support in the form of a pipe is made of a dielectric material, while the outer diameter of the bearing support corresponds to the inner diameter of a vibrator made of metal tubes, each coaxial feeder is connected to one of the vibrators through a device for balancing and matching the wave impedance of the feeder and the input impedance of the vibrator, representing a modified U-bend, consisting of two pieces of coaxial cables with electrical lengths equal to a quarter and three quarters of a wavelength, rolled up in the form of spirals and placed between the levers of the vibrator on a bearing support.
SUBSTANCE: signal transmission/reception systems for large coverage areas.
