FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of acoustics. The binaural surround sound recording device includes two microphone units fixed on the same horizontal line on the holder. Each microphone unit is a cubic-shaped body, one wall of which is intended for mounting on a holder, and in all other walls, in the center, there are conical recesses with mounting sockets, each of which houses a microphone. The software and hardware part includes an amplification unit for each microphone, a unit with a ten-channel analog-to-digital converter, with synchronous sampling, made with the possibility of performing multi-channel parallel recording from all microphones simultaneously, a software mixer, made with the ability to mix digitized recordings from all channels into a single file, and a recording unit configured to record the resulting single file onto an electronic medium.
EFFECT: providing the ability to create high-quality surround binaural recording with circular positioning, as well as providing the ability to record surround sound from a single point.
