FIELD: imaging technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for highlighting the contours of objects in hyperspectral images. The device consists of L blocks for the formation of gradient images, the inputs of which are the input of the device, the adder and the comparison unit with the threshold, the output of which is the output of the device, and the second input is technological, while the unit for the formation of parameters is additionally introduced into the device, p =0.1,…,P, q =0.1,…,Q of spatial coordinates of neighborhood of the i,j-th pixel whose input receives the values P, Q of the maximum parameters p, q, inverter, calculation unit K=(2P+1)(2Q+1)-1 of values of the correlation coefficients of the i,j-th pixel with its surrounding i±p, j±q pixels of the neighborhood according to the totality of L gradient images, the divider whose output is connected to the input of the comparison unit with the threshold, and the first input with the output of the adder, the counter, the output of which is connected to the second input of the divider, while the output of the gradient image generation unit, where is connected to the corresponding input of the unit for calculating the values of the correlation coefficients of the i,j-th pixel with the surrounding i±p, j±q pixels of the neighborhood according to the totality of L gradient images, the k-th output which, where k=1,…,K, is connected in parallel with the corresponding input of the adder, as well as with the corresponding k-th input of the counter.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of selecting the contours of spectral-selective objects by taking into account additional spatial-spectral relationships between the spectral components of the gradients of the hyperspectral image.
