FIELD: marking.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a marking profile for marking electrical equipment and to a method for manufacturing such marking profile. Marking profile for marking electrical equipment comprises a marking area with a markable top surface; a support area facing away from the top surface, adjacent to the marking area; and at least one shaped element for form-fitting attachment in a socket. The marking profile comprises an extruded plastic profile or consists of an extruded plastic profile. When viewed along the longitudinal length, the plastic profile has a constant cross section.
EFFECT: creation of a marking profile and a method for manufacturing the marking profile allowing the marking to be producing and installed on the electrical equipment with maximum efficiency; ensured sufficient form stability of the marking profile for installation as well as flexibility sufficient for applying inscriptions thereon using a label printing apparatus; provided possibility of correcting slipping and/or deviations during advancement or, accordingly, deviations in feed rate when feeding and passing the marking material inside the printing apparatus, so that the printing accuracy can be high even in large printing lengths.
