FIELD: labels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a marking material for marking electrical equipment and to a method for manufacturing marker strip for electrical equipment by means of such marking material. Marking material for marking electrical equipment, containing a coating layer with a top surface configured for inscriptions to be made thereof, and an adjoining surface facing away from the top surface; a foamed layer; at least one shaped element for form-fit securing in a socket; wherein the foamed layer contains a foam material, wherein the foam layer is cohesionally connected with the coating layer in the area of the adjoining surface, and wherein the shaped element is distanced from the coating layer.
EFFECT: provided possibility of manufacturing markings for electrical equipment, potentially more efficiently manufactured and mounted; the marking strip should also be easily mounted and dismantled without additional fastening.
