FIELD: measuring equipment engineering.
SUBSTANCE: during realization of method testing of acceleration meters block is periodically performed at transformer mounting position. For that purpose firstly rigid connection of acceleration meters block to transformer body is detached, then mechanical oscillations are excited in acceleration meters block, after that utilizing these acceleration meters level of induced mechanical oscillations is measured, and result of measurements is compared to nominal values and serviceability and error of acceleration meters belonging to block are evaluated. Difference between result of measurements and nominal value for each acceleration meter in following measurements is utilized as a correction to result of measurement. Device has block of three acceleration meters with mutually orthogonal axes, body and electronic circuit for processing signals received from acceleration meters block. Also, additionally provided are electric magnet, first and second springs and a locking device, while locking device is rigidly connected to body and is attached to acceleration meters block, which is rigidly held on one end of first spring, another end of which is rigidly held on body, and electromagnet is geld on body in such a manner, that between it and the end of first spring, to which acceleration meters block is attached, a gap is formed, wherein second spring is positioned.
EFFECT: realized possibility of automation of process of checking and testing acceleration meters, improved reliability and increased precision of measurements of transformers, composition of which includes aforementioned acceleration meters.
