The substance of the group of inventions lies in a method for creating a closed working area inside a device for carrying out repair work on a hydraulic structure, during which a closed working area is created by the surface of the hydraulic structure and tent material, and then the air in the closed working area is heated. The device for carrying out repair work on a hydraulic structure contains a hollow body 1 with two adjacent open faces, one of which provides contact with the surface of the hydraulic structure, and the other provides access for maintenance personnel to the internal cavity of the body 1 and is provided with a shelter 3, which is made of awning material. EFFECT: reducing the risk of violation of the microclimatic conditions of a closed working area inside the device for carrying out repair work on a hydraulic structure by reducing the risk of increasing the gap between the body and the surface of the hydraulic structure in the event of a decrease in the water level in the HTS water area and constant air heating inside this zone.
