SUBSTANCE: invention relates to damper (1), in particular, for fittings for furniture or household appliances, containing case (2), in which a direction of piston (10) connected to piston rod (5) is provided with the possibility of linear movement in inner space (20). At the same time, on piston (10) or in it, at least one flow channel (16) is formed, wherein flow channel (16) is made with the possibility of passage of a flow through it, when moving piston (10). In this case, volume compensation element (14) located in case (2) is provided, made with the possibility of compensation of a volume, which is moved or released, when part of piston rod (5) is pressed inside or retracted from case (2). Volume compensation element (14) installed with the possibility of movement in case (2), according to the invention, is retained on cover (13), which closes case (2) at one end and forms a through hole for piston rod (5).
EFFECT: obtainment of a damper.
