SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to drives. The converter of reciprocating motion into unidirectional rotational motion consists of a rack meshed with two cylindrical gears and a driven hypoid wheel. The gears are rigidly fixed on two parallel shafts. The ends of the shafts are connected to the leading hypoid gears. All four gears are connected through reverse clutches to the driven wheel. The axes of the shafts and the driven wheel do not intersect.
EFFECT: increase in the torque allowed in the transmission is achieved.
