SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronic instrumentation. The claimed method includes searching for and coarse targeting, generating probing radiation and irradiating the zone of the intended target location, receiving a glare reflected from the target by each emitter, building an image and measuring the target's coordinates in the coarse targeting receiving unit, precise targeting, measuring the distance to the target and focusing the radiation on it, forming the radiation of emitters with fiber-optic outputs of a given radiation pattern and focusing it on the target. In this case, the reception of the glare reflected from the target, the formation of radiation and the formation of a given directivity pattern are carried out by a long-focus collimator, in the focal plane of which the end of the fiber-optic output core is located. The probing radiation reflected from the target and the radiation of the emitter with a fiber-optic lead induced on the target are separated by a beam-splitting element.

EFFECT: effective formation of the diffraction quality of radiation, increasing the accuracy of pointing and increasing the density of radiation on the target.
