SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of consumer services of the population; it can be used in dry cleaning and household conditions. A method for cleaning carpets and furniture upholstery, as well as blankets includes the main semi-humid manual cleaning, using cleaning agents, washing, laying, and drying. At the same time, depending on a type of cleaned products and a form or a degree of pollutions, before manual semi-humid cleaning, preliminary manual dry cleaning and/or preliminary manual semi-humid cleaning are carried out, using cleaning agents, which are water-dissolved or concentrated preparations, which are selected depending on a category of pollutions according to the attached recommendation.
EFFECT: invention allows for expansion of the field of application of a cleaning method and increase in the quality of services provided, reduction in labor costs and time for a process of cleaning of products by the use of an expanded range and set of cleaning agents, depending on a type of pollutions.
