FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the levels of interfaces between media in various industries. The vehicle fuel tank contains a capacitive interface level sensor. The sensor contains a sensitive element, which is a housing for electrodes, which is a metal profile formed by connecting several tubes to each other, containing a stiffening element connecting the adjoining tubes of the profile. In this case, each profile tube contains a ventilation hole placed coaxially with the ventilation hole on side surface of said collar part; and contains a slot. The housing for the electrodes contains electrodes rigidly fixed in each of the profile tubes, which are metal tubes having the same linear capacity, but differing in length.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability and manufacturability of the design and, as a consequence, an increase in the accuracy of measurements of the level of the interface between media.
