FIELD: gas turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine engines, in particular to methods for reducing the level of vibration that occurs at resonant frequencies of rotation of the rotor or rotors of a two-shaft gas turbine engine of an aircraft, and can be used in ship technology and ground-based gas turbine installations. The substance of the invention lies in a slight change in the rotor speed to leave the resonant mode by temporarily adjusting the position of the adjustable guide vanes. In case of further increase in vibration after adjustment, the ACS performs an adjustment in the opposite direction.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to reduce the increased level of vibration that occurs at the resonant frequencies of the rotor, without changing the operating mode and practically unchanged engine thrust.
