FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: bearing serviceability is checked out at shutdown engine. First, at production state the device intrinsic frequencies are defined and tuned out from engine component resonance frequencies and controlled bearing working oscillation frequencies being measured. Prior to check-out, plugs of high-pressure turbine blade leading edge inspection holes are withdrawn. Hollow cylindrical barrel is screwed in thread joint of said hole for oscillation duct with LF or HF vibration transducer and vibration signal processing system fitted therein to be fitted therein with the help of pressure screw. Said oscillation duct is arranged to thrust against high-pressure turbine blade platform, thrust force being controlled by pressure screw acting to damper spring. To estimate oscillation amplitude excited by said bearing, low-pressure rotor is spun up by manual drive. Vibrosignal from inter-rotor bearing is transmitted via disc and said high-pressure turbine blade platform to vibration transducer. Vibrosignal is analyzed at post-processing conditions to reveal fault of said bearing.
