FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: image is designed to measure the levels of interfaces between media in various industries. The tank for transporting fuel contains a capacitive level sensor of the media interface. The sensor contains a sensitive element, which is a housing for electrodes, which is a metal profile formed by connecting several tubes to each other, containing a stiffening element connecting the adjoining tubes of the profile. Each profile tube contains a slot axially aligned with the corresponding ventilation hole on the side surface of the collar part. The electrode housing contains electrodes fixed in each of the profile tubes, which are metal tubes with the same linear capacity, but differing in length, and the main electrode is made along the length equal to the length of the electrode housing, and each compensation electrode is made along a length less than than the length of the main electrode. The sensitive element of the sensor is made with the possibility of connection with the base of the capacitive sensor through the holes for the fasteners of the sensor housing.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability and manufacturability of the design and, as a consequence, an increase in the accuracy of measurements of the level of the interface between media.
