FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing material, which can be used as fire curtains. Described is a fire-retardant intumescent material made in the form of a fabric coated with a polymer coating from a polyvinyl chloride composition containing a phosphoric acid derivative and dioctyl phthalate, wherein the composition further contains chlorinated paraffin, aluminium hydroxide, zinc borate and a phosphorus-containing oligomer, the phosphoric acid derivative used is trichloropropylphosphate, and fabric is a ceramic fabric at the following weight ratio of components of composition, weight parts: polyvinyl chloride 10.0, dioctyl phthalate 5.0, trichloropropylphosphate 35.0, chlorinated paraffin 9.0−14.0, aluminium hydroxide 22.0, zinc borate 13.0, phosphorus-boron-containing oligomer TSF 1.0−6.0.

EFFECT: technical result is increased adhesion strength of bond between plastisol-fabric layers and increased duration of fire-retardant efficiency of material.
