SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to a method for strapdown orientation of moving objects. For the orientation of moving objects, primary instrumental information is formed about the object's apparent acceleration vector based on the signals of a pre-calibrated non-orthogonal block of accelerometers, the vector of the resulting magnetic field strength from the signals of a pre-calibrated non-orthogonal block of magnetometers, the radius vector of the object's location point based on the signals of the satellite navigation system, as well as on the subsequent the processing of this complex magnetic-inertial-satellite information in order to determine the parameters of the orientation of the object in a certain way performs autonomous control, self-diagnosis, correction and normalization of the results obtained.

EFFECT: increased fault tolerance of the orientation system.
