SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and is intended to obtain a feed additive for feeding ruminants. The method for feeding is characterized by the fact that cobalt chloride is introduced into the main diet in the form of wheat bran at a dosage of 1.5 mg/kg of dry matter per head once a day for young cattle at 11-12 months of age.
EFFECT: use of the invention will increase the digestibility of the dry matter of the diet in ruminants, as well as accelerate the course of metabolic processes in the rumen.
