FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the branch of agriculture and is intended for production of a fodder additive from wastes of oil extraction production of sunflower husks for ruminant animals. Fodder additive includes sunflower husks subjected to continuous fermentation for 9 days in a bioreactor while maintaining temperature parameters of 39 °C, pH 6.9–7.0 and with subsequent inclusion in diet of 15-16-month-old bull-calves together with the main diet, by replacing 10 % by volume of the concentrated part of fodder with subsequent feeding once a day during a growing period of 14 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to increase intensity of metabolic processes in the body of ruminant animals.
