In the carrier radio channel configuration method, the first message from the first terminal is received through the second terminal, which contains the first configuration information of the carrier radio channel of the bypass communication line between the second terminal and the first terminal. The first configuration information contains information used to indicate that the operating mode of the radio link control level (RLC) of the bypass carrier radio channel is the mode with confirmation (AM), or contains information used to indicate that the operating mode of the RLC level of the bypass carrier radio channel is the mode without confirmation (UM), and an indication of the type of carrier channel, which is used to indicate the type of carrier radio channel of the bypass communication line. The carrier radio channel of the bypass communication line is installed or configured by means of the second terminal based on the first message. In this case, the method additionally contains a stage at which a third message is sent via a second terminal to a network device if the carrier radio channel of the bypass communication line is a bidirectional carrier radio channel. The third message contains information used to indicate the operating mode of the RLC level of the bypass carrier radio channel.
