SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage equipment, in particular to outdoor switching devices, and can be used in medium-voltage electrical networks to automatically disconnect damaged sections of the network. Essence: an automatic remotely controlled outdoor load switch with a double break, installed on a protected section of the circuit: a branch from the main line, contains a frame, at least three vacuum arc-extinguishing chambers, support insulators in the upper part of which fixed contacts are fixed, main rotary knives made with the ability to close fixed contacts and connected to arc-extinguishing chambers, a motor drive mounted in the frame and made with the ability to rotate the main knives, a spring-loaded traction insulator, at least three current sensors, an auxiliary transformer and a load switch control cabinet. The load switch control cabinet is based on a microcontroller unit, which is designed with the ability to receive commands from the control room for remote switching on and off of the protected section of the circuit and transmitting readings to the control room. In the event of a short circuit, the microcontroller unit, according to the readings of current sensors and the voltage value of the auxiliary transformer, by means of a motor drive of the main knives and a vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, automatically disconnects the damaged section of the circuit to an interruption pause of the cycle of automatic re-activation of the higher sectioning point and transmits an emergency signal to the control room. The grounding knives driven manually using a portable rod. The auxiliary transformer and the control cabinet of the load switch are installed on a single support.

EFFECT: improving the quality of power supply to consumers, reducing the cost of finding the place of damage, converting the load switch into an independent protective device.
