FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering using heat flows of the natural environment. The operation principle of a device is implemented by means of heat exchange between hydrocarbon fuel and the natural environment in the Arctic (sea water). The device for provision of a temperature mode of storage of hydrocarbon fuels in the Arctic consists of a heat exchanger, in which fuel is heated due to the use of natural warm of the Arctic, and valves providing fuel circulation through the heat exchanger of a pump, and a pipeline connecting elements of the device together. The heat exchanger is the main element of the device, where fuel is heated due to the natural environment, while it is circulated in the following sequence: a storage tank, the pump, the heat exchanger, the storage tank. The temperature mode of storage of fuel in the storage tank is automatically maintained due to periodicity of pumping fuel through the heat exchanger.
EFFECT: maintenance of a set temperature of storage of fuels at low temperatures in arctic conditions.
