FIELD: of ship lifting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means of ship lifting, namely soft inflatable pontoons. A soft ship-lifting pontoon (SSLP) consists of a shell and a sling suspension attached to it, a fitting with a valve for connecting a pressure hose for blowing with compressed air, pressure-safety valves and openings closed with removable covers for releasing compressed air from the shell. The shell is made as a seamless multi-layered shell with increased strength due to the power reinforcing frame made of cord fabric with soft butts fixed on it and is able to withstand increased pressure up to 2 kg/cm2 when the safety valves actuate during blowing and up to 4 kg/cm2 when the SSLP rises together with a lifted object, when, with a sharp drop in external hydrostatic pressure, the pressure relief valves, limited in their capacity, are not able to provide a quick timely release of internal pressure.
EFFECT: increased internal pressure in the pontoon, the possibility of controlling the pressure inside the SSLP during its purging, and an increase in the resistance of the SSLP to various types of damage.
