SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method for increasing the yield of wheat includes processing wheat with 0.0003 wt.% aqueous solution of melatonin for vegetative plants once in the tillering phase with a working solution consumption of 300 l/ha.
EFFECT: proposed method for increasing the yield of wheat provides an increase in the efficiency and resistance to external stress effects of the photosynthetic apparatus of wheat, which contributes to an increase in yield, and also expands the arsenal of tools that increase the yield of wheat.
