FIELD: pneumatic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements of pneumohydraulic systems, namely to pressure boosters that increase the pressure of air or gas in the pipeline and have a standard pressure of less than 10 and more than 10 bar at the inlet, and can be used for metrological purposes to power pressure monitoring and measurement devices during their calibration or verification, as well as to supply compressed air by air to various pneumatic devices. The pneumatic pressure booster contains a housing with a lid with a membrane assembly divided by a flexible membrane into two chambers: a gas chamber with two check valves for the supply pressure and output pressure and a hydraulic one, the housing additionally houses a reservoir with a working fluid connected to a hydraulic pump, which is connected to the hydraulic chamber of the membrane assembly through the fluid flow control system, while the control system consists of a discharge valve connected in series with the hydraulic pump, used to adjust the fluid pressure and discharge excess fluid volume back into the tank, an adjustable throttle to adjust the flow rate of hydraulic fluid, an electrohydraulic valve used to direct the flow of liquid into the membrane unit or discharge liquid from the membrane assembly into the tank.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, an increase in the maintainability of the design and an increase in the stability of pressure maintenance in comparison with the prototype, as well as the possibility of pressure regulation, an increase in the efficiency of the booster.
