FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for early diagnosis of hemodynamic disorders of periodontal tissues when smoking cigarettes. The method forlaser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) determines the index of microcirculation (MI) perf. units and tissue saturation of the periodontium (StO2), %, by the OTO method, the index of periodontal tissue oxygenation (PTO) when smoking cigarettes, equal to the ratio of the microcirculation index to the value of tissue saturation. When the value of the TOP index when smoking cigarettes is higher than 0.2±0.018, it is concluded that there is a hemodynamic disorder of periodontal tissues in a smoker.
EFFECT: method provides detection of early functional preclinical disorders of hemodynamics of periodontal tissues when smoking cigarettes, which allows early start of preventive measures.
