SUBSTANCE: The invention relates to a technology for producing components of a catalyst for polymerization of diene hydrocarbons in the synthesis of synthetic rubbers and can be used in the petrochemical industry. The method for obtaining neodymium neodecanoate comprises coupling of a premixed aqueous solution of neodymium with a solution of neutralized neodecanoic acid in a solvent with stirring for 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 18-25 °C. Then it is settled for the separation of the aqueous and organic phases and the aqueous phase is separated. The organic phase is first washed with water, then a double volume of solvent is added to it, after which it is dried by vacuum distillation of the added double volume of solvent at a temperature of 18-25 °C and a residual pressure of 650-700 Pa. The distilled azeotropic solvent mixture with water is supplied to the stage of preparation of the initial extractant. The aqueous phase after extraction and washing is combined, neutralized with a solution of ammonium carbonate, and the precipitate in the form of carbonate or neodymium oxide is returned to the stage of preparation of an aqueous solution of neodymium.

EFFECT: The present invention enables to increase the efficiency of the process by reducing the synthesis time of the final product, including by transferring it (the process) to a continuous mode and improving the quality of the finished product while simplifying the technological process as a whole.
