In patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of the arteries of the lower extremities with stage IIB-III of the disease, the value of the VEGF A 165 marker in the peripheral venous blood is determined by the method for enzyme immunoassay, peak systolic blood flow velocity, peripheral resistance index, analysis of the envelope of the Doppler spectrum of blood flow along the femoral-popliteal shunt during ultrasound examination 1 month after the operation.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the formation of neointimal hyperplasia in synthetic prostheses after bypass surgery on the arteries of the femoropopliteal segment by evaluating the totality of the most important indicators.
