FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrument engineering. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that an angular velocity sensor with a non-contact magnetic suspension of an inertial element in the form of a ring made of ferromagnetic material contains an inertial element made in the form of a thin disk, having the same thickness and placed in the same plane with a stator having the shape of a flat plate and containing a step-shaped hole along the contour, including grooves between which there are consoles directed to the center of the stator, on which coils are installed, and the consoles are bounded by an internal cylindrical surface, inside which an annular inertial element is placed.
EFFECT: simplification of the device design.
