FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of building materials, namely to a method for the production of a magnesian binder based on waste of the diamond industry; it can be used for the production of dry building mixtures, heat-insulating materials, etc., as a substitute of Portland cement, when manufacturing concretes, mortars, ferroconcrete structures. The method is characterized by that saponite-containing material (hereinafter – SCM) is used as waste, which is ground to a particle size of 1200-1300 nm. Then, it is annealed at a temperature of 800-900°C. After that, waste is sealed with an aqueous solution of magnesium chloride with a density of 1.2 g/cm3, at the following ratio of components, wt.pt.: SCM – 2.5; magnesium chloride solution – 1.
EFFECT: simplification of a process of binder production, disposal of waste of the diamond industry, when producing a binder, as well as increase in a curing rate and final binder strength.
