FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for subsequent processing of gas flows, in which undesired components are present in such an amount, which is unevenly changed, periodically or over time, and/or with a changeable concentration, using a method for absorption or scrubber purification of gas. More specifically, a method for purification of waste regeneration gas obtained during regeneration of sorbent loaded with a target component by passage of purge gas above it or through it includes processing of a flow of waste regeneration gas with sorbent, which comes out of an adsorption unit. The flow of waste regeneration gas is characterized by change in amount and/or concentration of an undesired component, for example sulfur-containing components, over time. They are desorbed from the adsorption unit, in particular, in the form of a peak. According to the present invention, for this purpose, during desorption peak coming to a device for scrubber purification of gas, amount of a medium for scrubber purification is increased based on a normal value during the first phase. After the end of the desorption peak, amount of a medium for scrubber purification is returned to a normal value during the second phase. At the same time, loaded media for scrubber purification during two phases are collected in different intermediate vessels, mixed, and released in the form of a mixture to a downstream located device for regeneration of a medium for scrubber purification.
EFFECT: invention provides more efficient removal of impurity components from waste regeneration gas, as well as setting of parameters of a method for subsequent processing of waste regeneration gases obtained during regeneration of loaded adsorbents in contact with a purge gas flow to provide an essentially homogenous inflow of a medium for physical scrubber purification, loaded with impurity components, for example sulfur-containing components, for regeneration of the medium for scrubber purification and, consequently, for a homogenous outflow of waste gases containing sulfur-containing components from regeneration of the medium for scrubber purification to a downstream located installation, for example Claus unit.
