SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to cardiovascular and endovascular surgery. After carotid endarterectomy, two U-shaped purse sutures are applied to the external carotid artery from the internal, external, and common carotid arteries, at a distance of 1 cm from each other, capturing the entire arterial wall. A puncture of the external carotid artery is made in the retrograde direction, an introducer is installed. The internal carotid artery is compressed. A stent is positioned and installed at the mouth of the common carotid artery. Post-dilation is performed with a balloon catheter of a smaller diameter, the clamp is removed from the internal carotid artery, clamps are applied to the external carotid artery, the introducer is removed. The U-shaped sutures are tightened, forming a knot, and the clamps are removed from the external carotid artery.

EFFECT: possibility of simultaneous revascularisation of multilevel lesions of the brachiocephalic arteries with the minimised risks of brain embolism, higher effectiveness of treatment, lower trauma rate and duration of surgical interventions.
