FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: brake system for a railway car is proposed. The brake system includes distributing valves for both standard and wide tracks, related to different types, and it can automatically supply braking pneumatic pressure suitable for brake systems used depending on the track, without stopping railway cars, by switching braking pneumatic pressure, so that braking pneumatic pressure is supplied to the distributing valve, which is used for the corresponding track with wheel movement in a section of path alteration.
EFFECT: creation of a brake system, which can be used for both standard and wide tracks and used depending on a width of the track even without stopping a train.
