FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to systems of expanding wheel sets for railway cars. The system includes an axle, a wheel, a fastening cap, a lock, a flange, and a spring holder. The cap is connected with the axle and the lock. The flange is attached to one end of the fastening cap and retains the lock from opening. The spring holder is connected with the other end of the fastening cap. The spring is inserted between the flange and the spring holder. Also installed in the system are a pressure cylinder and a support cylinder. The pressure cylinder is connected with the outer parts of the flange and envelops the outer parts of the flange. The support cylinder is connected with the spring holder and supports the outer side surface of the pressure cylinder in order to prevent the flange and the pressure cylinder from declining from the centre.
EFFECT: safety of changing the track is increased.
