SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to predict the risk of developing unsatisfactory outcomes after performing laser decompression of intervertebral discs at the lumbar level. The presence of comorbid conditions, the duration of the disease, the preoperative level of quality of life according to ODI, the value of the body mass index, the degree of degeneration of intervertebral discs and arched joints, the value of the measured diffusion coefficient of the disc, as well as a decrease in the height of the disc at the level of the operated segment. The severity of the set parameters is evaluated in points. The points are summed up. A low risk is predicted if the sum is from 0 to 4 points. The risk is average if the value is from 5 to 7 points. There is a high risk of developing an unsatisfactory outcome if the value is 8 points or more.

EFFECT: assessment of the risk of development of unsatisfactory clinical outcomes in patients who underwent the procedure of percutaneous laser decompression of lumbar intervertebral discs during the period of postoperative observation for at least 3 months by evaluating the complex of the most significant parameters.
