FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw propulsion units with built-in electric motors. Screw birotating electric propulsion system comprises a housing with an internal shaped flow path, in which a bushing is installed on the axis of symmetry, which is rigidly connected to the housing by means of power posts. Inside the bushing the shafts of the first and the second screws rotating in opposite directions are movably installed by means of bearing supports. Ends of blades of each propeller are connected to their shroud ring through radial thrust bearings with possibility of rotation of blades made with magnets on its outer side, and which is the rotor of the electric motor. Around each ring there are coaxial windings of stators of electric motors, which are rigidly fixed on the inner wall of the housing. Housing is made to the outlet of its internal profiled flow path narrowing in the form of a confuser. Two power posts are located oppositely and diametrically and are made elongated so that they pass through the housing, to its outer side, and are connected to drives. Inside the elongated power posts there are dual power cables for supplying the stators of the electric motors.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the installation.
