FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of building materials and can be used in the production of gypsum articles. Raw mixture for pressed gypsum products contains a binder, a filler, and a 0.5% aqueous solution of a foaming agent. Herewith, a gypsum binder produced by firing citrogypsum at a temperature of 175 °C is used as a binder, and citrogypsum with a particle size not greater than 112 mcm is used as a filler. The mixture is produced at the following mass ratios of raw materials, %: gypsum binder 57.1 to 73.4, citrogypsum 8.2 to 24.5, 0.5% aqueous solution of the foaming agent the rest. Method for manufacturing articles includes mixing citrogypsum with the gypsum binder, adding the resulting raw mixture to a 0.5% aqueous solution of a foaming agent, stirring, shaping in a mould with a plastic inner surface under a pressure of 2 MPa, holding the articles at said for 30 sec. The articles are then pressed and dried in natural conditions to a constant mass.

EFFECT: higher strength of the articles, lower consumption of a binder and energy costs for pressing, lower metal consumption of production, and better surface quality of the end products.
