FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to predict the risk of vaginal wall erosion in peri- and postmenopausal women after surgical treatment of anterior apical pelvic organ prolapse using a polypropylene mesh prosthesis. The presence of premenopause is determined at the time of surgical treatment and a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Additionally, the concentration of total cholesterol, low density lipoproteins and triglycerides is determined in the peripheral venous blood. As indicators of anamnesis, the presence is additionally determined: hypertension, third-degree perineal rupture during delivery, episiotomy during childbirth, vaginal delivery at the age of 35 years or more, pelvic organ prolapse in relatives of the 1st line of kinship. Each indicator is evaluated in points, namely: the presence of hypertension is evaluated as 3 points; diabetes - as 2 points; the presence of premenopause at the time of surgical treatment - as 4 points; rupture of the perineum of the third degree in the process of delivery - as 2 points; performance of episiotomy in childbirth - as 2 points; vaginal delivery at the age of 35 years or more - as 3 points; pelvic organ prolapse in relatives of the 1st line of kinship - as 2 points. In the absence of a sign, its score is equated to 0. The concentration of total cholesterol 5.1 mmol/l or more is evaluated as 2 points, 5.0 mmol/l or less - as 0 points. The concentration of low-density lipoproteins of 3.1 mmol/l and more is estimated as 2 points, 3.0 mmol/l and less - as 0 points. The concentration of triglycerides 2.1 mmol/l and more is estimated as 2 points, 2.0 mmol/l and less - as 0 points. After that, the scores obtained are summed up, and with a score of 0 to 9, a low risk of developing erosion of the vaginal wall is predicted, from 10 to 24 points - a high risk of developing erosion of the vaginal wall.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the accuracy of predicting the degree of risk of erosion of the vaginal wall after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse using a polypropylene mesh prosthesis by using an assessment scale of a complex of factors using a point equivalent.
