FIELD: gold mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the extraction of precious metals from saturated activated carbon by desorption. Gold and silver desorption from saturated activated carbon is carried out with sodium hydroxide at a concentration of 2 g/l in autoclave at temperatures from more than 175 to 195°C.
EFFECT: method allows for an increase in quality of obtained eluates, reduction in a number of depleted eluates and a metal fraction in uncompleted production.
