FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustics. In a method for detecting low-speed movement of small-sized uninhabited underwater objects at short distances, in conditions where the use of active hydroacoustic methods is difficult or impossible, acoustic waves are received and recorded by hydroacoustic receivers and noise intensity spectra are analyzed, in particular, sections with a constant angle of inclination.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of detecting a noise source during its movement, including by determining the change in time of the spectral properties of the emitted noise.
