FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine; it can be used for therapy of animal sarcoptoidosis. An acaricide agent is administered, containing 0.25 wt.% of alpha-cypermethrin, 43.7 wt.% of triethylene glycol, 50.0 wt.% of clove oil, 0.05 wt.% of azelastine hydrochloride, 2.0 wt.% of an aqueous extract of eucalyptus ball leaves, 4.0 wt.% of benzocaine. The acaricide agent is used by local external application to the auricle or by a spraying method to the body surface from the calculation of 2 ml per the auricle for rabbits; 1-3 ml per the auricle for cats and dogs; 5 ml per the auricle for pigs; 1.5 l per animal for cattle; 0.5 l per animal for pigs, two times with an interval of 7 days.

EFFECT: method provides for expansion of the arsenal of acaricide agents due to the use of an acaricide agent including, as active substance, alpha-cypermethrin, as prolonging substance, clove oil, as antihistamine substance, azelastine hydrochloride, as a solvent, triethylene glycol, as a local anastatic, benzocaine and an extract of eucalyptus ball leaves.
