SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for treating hyperkinetic disorders in children. The child takes the modified eight-colour Luscher test, and the dependencies between the colour chosen by the child in the Luscher test and the key of the musical composition are identified by the method devised by V. M. Elkin. The treatment is performed in two stages. The first stage is conducted in a rehabilitation centre. Local colour light therapy is performed first, wherefor one coloured patch per day is applied in the areas of the pads of the distal phalanges of the thumbs as follows: purple – lemon – red – red – light blue – purple – orange – purple. The hands are then massaged one at a time with a spiked massage ball "Su-Jok" by the method devised by M. G. Panova for 5 minutes. Music therapy is performed during the intellectual and creative educational sessions in a programme composed of musical elegies. The sessions continue for 30 minutes for children 4 to 5 years of age and for 60 minutes for children 6 to 7 years of age. The second stage of treatment is performed at home in the same order and in the same amount as at the first stage.

EFFECT: correction of hyperkinetic disorders in children due to the selection of musical compositions with certain parameters of musical characteristics and use of colour light therapy and massage.
