SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to epidemiology, and can be used to assess the risk of infection of medical personnel in a department of a multidisciplinary hospital. The percentage of circulating microorganisms resistant to disinfectants is determined from the total number of hospital microorganisms, the total microbial number of microorganisms in 1 m2 of air (CFU/m2). The presence of S. Aureus in the air is determined. Sampling is carried out from the surfaces by the method for washings with the detection of the presence of staphylococci, bacteria of the Escherichia coli group, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The resistance of the identified strains of microorganisms to antibiotics is determined and the percentage of antibiotic-resistant microflora of the total number of hospital microorganisms is calculated. The identified indicators are evaluated in points. The scores are summed up and an index of the risk of infection of medical personnel is obtained. With a total of 9 or more points, a high infection risk index for medical personnel is determined. With a total of 5-8 points - the average risk index of infection of medical staff. With a total of 4 or less points - a low risk index for infection of medical staff.

EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency and simplification of predicting the infection of medical personnel by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
