FIELD: medicine, epidemiology, medicinal microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: method involves assay of sensitivity of strains to antibiotics, composing antibioticorgams and comparing antibioticograms of microorganisms isolated from patients and vicinity objects. Strain isolated from vicinity objects is diagnosed as hospital strain if it shows the resistance against three and more antibiotics and in the correspondence of antibioticograms of microorganisms isolated from patients and vicinity objects. Method provides carrying out diagnosis of hospital strains with the high precision. Invention can be used for detection of circulation of hospital strains and for carrying out anti-epidemic measures in curative-prophylactic institutions.
