FIELD: hollow rubber products production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of hollow rubber products and can be used for the manufacture of rubber-cord casings intended in public utilities for blocking and cleaning pipelines for various purposes. The method for manufacturing hollow rubber products consists in installing a mold, consisting of top and bottom covers and a cylindrical part, into a vertical vulcanizing pot. At the same time, a blank of a hollow rubber product is placed in the mold with subsequent molding by supplying compressed air inside the blank, supplying heat to heat the mold with electric heating elements installed on the inner surface of the vertical vulcanizing boiler above the upper and lower covers and around the cylindrical part, and vulcanization of a rubber product in it. When the heating temperature is lower than the curing temperature by 30-35°C in one of the parts of the mold, for example, the top cover fixed by the sensor, the electric heating elements controlled by this sensor are switched off from the heat supply. After reaching the same temperature by another part of the mold, for example, a cylindrical part, the corresponding sensor switches off the electric heating elements of the cylindrical part. Further, after heating the last part of the mold, for example, the bottom cover, to the same temperature, the vulcanization temperature is set manually or automatically by all sensors and all parts of the mold are heated by electric heating elements to the vulcanization temperature and the rubber product is vulcanized. At the same time, before starting heating, compressed air is supplied to the workpiece of a rubber product installed in a cold mold, the pressure of which is from 60 to 70% of the vulcanization pressure. Then heating is switched on in the vulcanization boiler, when the heating temperature is 30-35°C lower than the vulcanization temperature, one of the parts of the mold is supplied with 100% pressure required for vulcanization, while the electric heating elements installed above the top cover of the mold are performed with the possibility of adjusting their position in height, providing a given distance from the electric heating elements to the mold. The invention also relates to a device for implementing a method for manufacturing hollow rubber products.
EFFECT: improving the quality of products and productivity in the manufacture of hollow rubber products due to the pre-molding of rubber products and the possibility of adjusting the height position of electric heating elements to ensure uniform heating of all parts of the mold and maintain a constant temperature during the vulcanization of rubber products.
