FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, more specifically to jet engines with an afterburner. The afterburner flame stabilizer of the jet engine contains cantilever radial elements and a suspension unit. Each cantilever radial element of the stabilizer has at least one container partially filled with a metal or alloy with a melting point of less than 350°C and a density of more than 7000 kg/m3. Console radial elements of the stabilizer are made with tangential branches. The containers are placed at the ends of the tangential branches of the stabilizer cantilever radial elements. Containers are made of axisymmetric shape. Inside the containers, one or more transverse partitions are made with one or more holes in the partitions. The free part of the container is filled with an inert gas.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the vibrational stability of the flame stabilizer.
