SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a device to prevent the fall of the cable suspension of the ground drive of the rod depth pump. The device contains a housing consisting of an upper one with holes for the shaft and bolt and a lower one with two threaded holes of parts equipped with lugs and connected to each other by means of a spring adjustment mechanism. The regulating mechanism consists of a threaded guide shaft at the ends, fixed in a threaded hole in the lower part of the housing, a tension spring put on the guide shaft and fixed to the lower and upper parts of the housing using lugs. Also, the regulating mechanism consists of a coupling with an internal thread screwed onto the upper end of the guide shaft. A shaft with a thread at one end and a pin hole at the other end with a compression spring mounted on it is installed in the threaded hole of the lower part of the housing. A limiting plate with holes for the shaft and the lower part of the housing is mounted on the lower part of the housing and the free end of the shaft, fixed to limit its exit from the lower part of the housing using a cover and two bolts and from the shaft using a cotter pin installed in the shaft hole.

EFFECT: invention enables to create a device to prevent the falling of the cable suspension of the ground drive of the rod depth pump, which prevents spontaneous overturning of the cable suspension, rope breakage and leads to a reduction in emergency failures.
