FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the textile industry and can be used in the production of fire-resistant non-cohesive insulation with characteristics close to natural waterfowl fluff, obtained as a result of aerodynamic mixing of two components, one of which is fluff, and the second is synthetic yarn and is a single cyclically repeatable sequential discrete technological process, including cutting yarn with subsequent separation into individual staple fibers using gradient air flows and further mixing with waterfowl down, moreover, flame retardant yarn with properties of inhibiting gas-phase flame reactions is used as a fibrous component.
EFFECT: fire-resistant non-cohesive insulation and synthetic yarn production.
