FIELD: sheet metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of sheet metal by rotational extrusion and can be used for the manufacture of parts such as a hollow shell in various industries, mainly in mechanical engineering. A flat round billet is cut out of the sheet with a central hole for centering and fixing it on the mandrel. A rotary drawing of the workpiece is produced by a roller, which is moved along a given trajectory. Before centering the workpiece on the mandrel, it is fixed along the outer diameter in the stiffening device, which is installed with the possibility of free movement in the axial direction in the process of rotary drawing. The device is made in the form of two rings fastened together with radial grooves in response to each other for fixing the workpiece. The total depth of the grooves is less than the thickness of the workpiece.
EFFECT: loss of stability of the workpiece flange in the process of rotary drawing is excluded.
